Wroughton 4
Wilton Town 1st team 1

Gary Hooker (1)

Town's worst performance of the season saw them deservedly beaten at Wroughton.

A free header and an awful defensive mix-up which led to a penalty saw Wroughton 2-0 up at the break and it could have been worse.

Harsh words were said at half-time at Town started the second half well with Gary Hooker and Ollie Smith both going close.

Unfortunately the momentum Town were gathering was stopped its tracks when a poor decision gave Wroughton a free-kick which was passed sideways and thundered into the top corner to make it 3-0.

Another long range effort made it four and Town could only reply with a late penalty from Gary Hooker after he had been brought down in the area.

This was a poor day at the office and one that Town will want to forget quickly.
